On this day Michael Sum won the Best Net Overall prize of the Competition, scoring the same points as the 2nd and 3rd Net winners, but “beating the competition” on the last hole! Congratulations!

Mike Donoghue won the 2nd Net Overall prize with the same points as the 3rd Net Overall winner, but taking the 2nd position on the last 3 holes!

Hugh Gowrie got the 3rd Net Overall prize! All today’s prizes were sponsored by Balaia’s good friend Ramesh Patel, who kindly supported this week’s Competition!

Margaret Hartnell won the Best Net Overall prize in the Visitors category! Well Done Margaret!

On this day, Balaia organized  a new competition to the event, “Lowest number of Putts – 9 holes”

May 11th, 2011, the Balaia Wednesday Weekly Golf Competition! On this day Balaia Golf paid a little tribute to former Spanish Golf Star Seve Ballesteros, who just passed away recently (May 7th). Seve was a true Icon to this sport.  God bless his soul.

The Competition prizes for Best Net Gents and Ladies – Annual Membership for Koninginnedag Society, and 2nd Net Gents and Ladies – Half-Yearly Membership for Koninginnedag Society, were presented at Balaia Golf!

Toon Nederstigt and Michiel Kramer won the Best and 2nd Net Gents prizes, while Rietje Keupers and Carrine Middendorp won the Best and 2nd Net prizes on the Ladies category!

Rietje Keupers also wan the Nearest to the Pin Ladies prize, awarded by Paraíso da Balaia Resort Manager John de Jong!
